My name is Nathan, and I’m currently an assistant professor at a public affairs school (American University). I was homeschooled until I began attending college, and I first gained interest in many of the topics I (plan to) discuss here while participating in competitive debate during high school. I don’t really like to read, but my curiosity about the world drives me to do a fair amount of it. I don’t really care for writing most of the time either, but I love to express my ideas to others, particularly when I feel very passionate about a topic (which happens pretty often). This blog is my attempt to share with more of the world some of my thoughts about Christianity, government, society, and whatever other topics end up capturing me.
